CITB SSSTS Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme 2 days
This two day SSSTS course is aimed at Site Supervisors to give a good understanding of their legal responsibilities for health, safety and environmental issues on construction sites. The course is recognised by the United Kingdom Contractors Group (UKCG) as meeting the standards required on their construction sites.
A basic command of written and spoken English is required for this course. Terms and conditions will be sent once a booking enquiry has been made, which must be accepted in writing prior to a place being confirmed. An invoice will then be issued and payment must be received at least 7 days prior to the first course date.
Who the course is aimed at

Qualification / Certificate received
Upon successful completion of the course you will receive a CITB Site Safety Plus certificate â€“ please allow roughly 10 weeks for the certificate to arrive with you following the course. The qualification lasts for 5 years and a refresher course must be completed prior to the expiry date.

The course is delivered in an open and interactive manner, and involves the use of case studies and group â€˜workshopâ€™ style training. Delegates may be asked to undertake some home study with the use of the workbooks and course material. There is a multiple choice test at the end of the course which must be passed in order to obtain the certificate and qualification.
Can the course be failed?
The exam can be failed, but this is unlikely and revision time can be used prior to the exam on the final day.
Typical start and finish time each day
9am to around 4pm
Around 15 minutes from junction 10 of the M54 and around 15 minutes from Telford Central train station by taxi. Parking is provided free of charge within an on-site car park. The building is easy to locate following local tourism signs to the Jackfield Tile Museum and signage will direct you to The Mill Building within the museum grounds. We have facilities for disabled access.
Refreshments (tea/coffee/biscuits) are included for all courses. Lunch is included for CITB courses only however there is a cafe on site in the museum grounds and a couple of pubs within short walking distance serve food at lunch time during the summer months.
