CITB SMSTS Site Management Safety Training Scheme 2 day refresher
This two day SMSTS refresher course is aimed at project managers and site managers, as well as personnel who deal with construction projects within their role, who have previously completed the full five day SMSTS course within the last 5 years. The course is recognised by the United Kingdom Contractors Group (UKCG) as meeting the standards required on their construction sites.

A new SMSTS qualification certification lasting an additional 5 years.

The course is delivered in an open and interactive manner, and involves the use of case studies and group workshop style training. Delegates will also need to undertake some home study through the course with the use of the workbooks and course material. There is a multiple choice test at the end of the course which must be passed in order to obtain the certificate and qualification.
Can the course be failed?
It is possible to fail the exam, however this is very unlikely.
Typical start and finish time each day
9am start and roughly 4pm finish with breaks for refreshments and lunch.
Around 15 minutes from junction 10 of the M54 and around 15 minutes from Telford Central train station by taxi. Parking is provided free of charge within an on-site car park. The building is easy to locate following local tourism signs to the Jackfield Tile Museum and signage will direct you to The Mill Building within the museum grounds. We have facilities for disabled access.
Refreshments (tea/coffee/biscuits) are included for all courses. Lunch is included for CITB courses only however there is a cafe on site in the museum grounds and a couple of pubs within short walking distance serve food at lunch time during the summer months.
