CITB 1 Day Health & Safety Awareness
This one day Health & Safety Awareness course is a popular first step towards gaining the CSCS Labourerâ€™s Card (previously the Green Card) and could progress towards completing other courses for supervisors or managers. The course is recognised by the United Kingdom Contractors Group (UKCG) as meeting the standards required on their construction sites.
A basic command of written and spoken English is required for this course. Terms and conditions will be sent once a booking enquiry has been made, which must be accepted in writing prior to a place being confirmed. An invoice will then be issued and payment must be received at least 7 days prior to the first course date.
Who the course is aimed at
The course is for those who are new to or are thinking of entering the construction industry, and gives an awareness of health and safety and how it affects them in their daily activities.
Qualification / Certificate received
Upon successful completion of the course you will receive a CITB Site Safety Plus certificate â€“ please allow roughly 10 weeks for the certificate to arrive with you following the course.

The course is delivered in an open and interactive manner, and involves the use of case studies and group work. There is a multiple choice test at the end of the course which must be passed in order to obtain the certificate.
Can the course be failed?
The exam can be failed but is unlikely and revision time will be allowed to ask any questions or cover anything in more depth where requested prior to taking the test.
