CITB SMSTS Site Management Safety Training Scheme 5 day
This five day SMSTS course is aimed at project managers and site managers, as well as personnel who deal with construction projects within their role. Delegates will come away with the tools to manage health and safety on construction sites.
A basic command of written and spoken English is required for this course. Terms and conditions will be sent once a booking enquiry has been made, which must be accepted in writing prior to a place being confirmed. An invoice will then be issued and payment must be received at least 7 days prior to the first course date.
Who the course is aimed at

Qualification / Certificate received
Upon successful completion of the course you will receive a CITB Site Safety Plus certificate â€“ please allow roughly 10 weeks for the certificate to arrive with you following the course. The qualification lasts for 5 years and a refresher course must be completed prior to the expiry date.

The course is delivered in an open and interactive manner, and involves the use of case studies and group â€˜workshopâ€™ style training. Delegates will also need to undertake some home study through the course with the use of the workbooks and course material. There is a multiple choice test at the end of the course which must be passed in order to obtain the certificate and qualification.
Can the course be failed?
The exam can be failed, but this is highly unlikely and revision time can be used prior to the exam on the final day of the course.
